Safety First

In January 2017 I was faced with the task of orienting my first class of nursing students as a practicum leader at Pine Rest.  I quickly learned there were no existing materials provided by the hospital to educate students on the critical component of safety on an inpatient psych floor.  Though this presentation was originally developed for nursing students, it has also been used on other units of Pine Rest to help train new employees.
