Legal Process Tutorial

One of the most misunderstood aspects of inpatient psychiatric treatment is the legal process that dictates care. Even floor staff can struggle to explain this process, much less a confused or agitated patient.  I made this presentation as a broad introduction to the significance Michigan's mental health laws have to patient care on a psychiatric unit.  Though this was originally made for nursing students, it has been used on other units of Pine Rest as an educational tool for new employees.
